“ I started snowboarding with my dad when i was 14. I was living far from the mountain and was only able to snowboard while visiting my grandma in the Alps. As a young boy, I bought all the snowboard magazines, videos and kept them as my treasure collection. During 2 years i have been reading and watching them over and over after school. Until my parents decided to move near the Alps. I never thought about becoming a snowboard photographer myself until I found a bag on a bus while returning from a backcountry kicker session with my friends. The bag contained a camera and some Porsche keys. It was more than 10 years ago and that day changed my life in many ways. For better or worse, it granted me a new purpose and the beginning of a life full of adventures. At least I hope it’s just the beginning. I will keep trying my best to document snowboarding until I find a new bag full of new adventures…”
